Hello and help

Hello iam new, just d/l the total map pack number 3 and, ive looked around but found no help files or faq.
If i install the map pack does this mean i wont be able to join non map pack servers, as in normal ranked untill i remove the map pack?
I want to try it out but not at the cost of being booted from normal bf2 servers.

Welcome and if you install the map pack 3 you can still play at the normal bf2 servers :)
Have fun anyway
