I get lag on the new ones but it doesnt help with a SiSchipset or 300 PSU.

A powersupply isnt going to limit your performance. Its either going to work or its going to crash at bootup.

Your motherboard might be the limiting factor, or your CPU, make sure you have the latest mobo drivers from SiS.

If that doesnt fix the lag... remember the 6600 is a pretty no thrills card, you should be running 1024x768 everything on lowest IMO.

Yeah it's really crappy compared to a GT, I think SLI'd 6600's jsut barely beat or meet with one 6600gt.

no actually two 6600's is much better than a 6600gt.
