Jumpers to switch in and out of SLi mode and normal x16 mode for the video cards.

        okay which brings me to:
        1. why not just use the switch?
        2. why does the UT DR expert not have it?
and 3. I dont get how that works (but the first two questions are more important)

        thanks!

The expert can be set in the BIOS, no jumpers needed.

The expert and ATI board etc... are newer, and they do the switching in bios. The DFI NF4 boards came out in late 2004/early 2005, they are great boards but essentially based upon the first designs.

#3. All you do is move the jumper, one settings is x16 and i believe x2 speed (maybe x1), and the other setting is x8 and x8.
