    Mouse Freezing, help!

This problem started happening after I got the 81.98 drivers. Every now and then, usually when loading appications my mouse will freeze and just sit there. I hit it a few times and that didn't work, then I noticed soemthing odd. I would move the mosue around and there would supposebly be the mouse on the screen, but the arrow would be in some total different spot and just sit there. So basically sometimes the arrow will freeze in some spots, but I can still move to where the mouse should be like click start and launch internet when the arrow is still in the center of the screen. WTF? It started happening as I said after the 81.98's.

I also tryed looking for mouse acceleration, but couldn't find it. Help? I've tryed using different mouses and it still happens, this also happens ingame.

revert to the older drivers? (your only supposed to update drivers if you get a problem with your current ones)

If I roll back I can move back up to the current ones if I wanted to, right?

Rollbacking the drivers to a previous version will allow updating all over again (if it doenst work just uninstall/re-install the mouse drivers, not using the most recent update)

Alright I'll try that if this stuff really starts ****ing me off.

          --UPDATE--

Alright I rolled back my drivers to 77.77 (the ones that were on the disk). I then went to control panel and happend to come accross that in the video acceleration tab there is a option for cursor problems, maybe I should've tryed that before updating. But anyway I'll see if it works fine and then I'll try moving to the 81.98's. Thanks for your help Scinto :).
