Performance Increase?

Currently waiting to order a 7800GS possibly a 7800GS XT

Im just wondering what kind of performance increase i may be looking at?
My current setup is:

AMD Athlon 64 2800 @ 1.80Ghz
1GB Ram
Serial ATA 7200rpm
Nvidia 6600 (Standard)

I currently get 30 - 40 FPS on medium settings. 20 - 30 during fire fights.


Any input is appreiciated :)

You should e able to put most settings on high, but textures shoudl stay on med, as you really need 1.5-2 gigs of RAM if you want high textures. But you can try it and see.

Yes, if you get 2GB of RAM, it will run smooth on all high.
