Keeping your wires tidy. Just HOW do you do it?

How do you keep your wires hidden and tidy. Im going to start modding my case and id like to be able to manage my wires well. Im thinking of buying a chrome spiral wrap to hold them together. Would this work?

I'm not sure what they're called but just small black wires you can get, you normally find them attached to hardware eg. Tv's and stuff. Clipties are also good.

^ What i use, their the clicky ones that you have to cut to open up again, handy and easy to use. Or i have some velcro things that are similar, their just a strip and i just wind it around and it sticks to its self, does the job fine.

ohhh thx guys. i get what i can do now. ill use those wires to wrap them up. but what do you do about the connectors. they hang out like ugly ugly things. and would chrome wrapping look good in an antec superlanboy with blue CCFL?

With the connectoers (i assume you mean the connections for fans/cd drives/hd's etc.) i just try to tie them up as much as possible too. Im not sure about the chrome wrapping..

Also, what seetings do you play BF2 at? Im getting a pc similar to yours.

For Power connectors, not much you can do, just try to hide them somewhere in the case, out of side, like BPMB said, velcro or something.

I'm a poor man, so i use scotch tape. JK. I'm not a poor man, but i do use scotch tape, i tape it to the back of the case, and i tape the wires together to keep them organized.

The most important thing about wire management is the ability to hide well. If you can take off the back panel and tuck extra wiring behind the drive bays or back panel you can almost make them disappear.


This is an older pic of one of my rigs, you can see (kinda) the wires behind the drivebay, the rest are tucked behind the back panel.
