SO needless to say Im looking at a new one. I`m looking at the saitek x45 or x52 any suggestions?

Its an MS SideWinder Precision Pro 2
Its about 4 years old. Ive been tearing it apart and temporarily repairing it for a long while now. Tonight was the last straw.

'CAuse Logitech's quality has been going down the crapper.

I used to be a big logitech fan, but lately everything I've picked up from them has broken in inordantly short amounts of time... including my 3D Pro.

I looked at some logitechs today, I wanst really impressed. I really liked the slider on the left side of the sidewinder, its too bad MS dropped them.
I looked around today to see if anyone still cariied them with no luck.
I suppose Im better off with some non contact technology, seeing as I dont wanna spend a Saturday Morning rebuilding the thing every two weeks.

Well I just read the x45 doesnt have the twist rudder, guess Im gonna buy the x52.

UPDATE Came home from work to find the x52 on my desk. My wifes great!

This setup is gonna take some getting used to.

I will agree on this. Saitek usually makes crap products but i have had the ST290 Pro for a while, as well as 2 of my buddies......it gets the job done with no problem : ). Plenty of buttons as well.

I like my Saitek ST290 pro as well...especially when I found it on clearance at my local Radio Shack for $8!!
