Most like the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...CONTENTID=6954

It's the one I use and I enjoy it. Especially the twist handle.

I payed $84.00 CAD for that when I originally got it but I also bought 3 year unlimited warranty from my store. Awesome Joystick! (have taken it back 4 times but still good Joystick)

the reason I took it back so many times was because it begin to create a tilt that couldn't be fixed, a consistant pull to the left. It would make the airplane spin (I don't use it for helis)

Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is a perfect joystick for flying jet in BF2. For chopter might be a bit sensitive.

At first the joystick motions are tight, but after usage, it tends to get loosen up a bit, which the previous poster might complain for a tilt. When a jet about to taking off on the runway, there is a tendency to pull to left. This could just be the BF2's problem.

not just takeoff, but throughout flying. I'm not just a casual flyer

I have logitech extreme 3d pro. It is a great joystick but occasionally the calibration the joystick calibration will drift. To recalibrate, unplug the USB then move the joystick in circles and press some buttons for 30sec (discharges sensors). Then plug in and check the joystick properties (control panel) to see that the joystick is centered. If not, repeat. This happens to me every couple months of heavy use.
