Re: Can not select X-FI in options menu
oaky this is what I did, I started having problem, with not being able to use it at all, after a bunch of driver installs and such this finally worked. You may be able to bypass the first two steps, but I recommend just doing it the long way.
I uninstalled every single Creative thing on my computer, then used Driver cleaner to get rid of it for good.
I popped in the CD, and reinstalled everything that I wanted.
Then I made sure it all worked somewhat, and I went to creative.com, found the neweest drivers (not firmware or applications, but drivers) for my x-fi card, downloaded them. Installed them (note: DO NOT uninstall the previous drivers from your box, keep those installed) and once it finished updating I restarted and it all worked again.
if u need more help ask, but that worked. -
Re: Can not select X-FI in options menu
OR you could put in into xfi mode, save, then close bf2
THEN restart bf2, change quality to Ultra High, then save , close bf2 again
THEN finally start up bf2 and verify.
but yea like Sackynut said, get the latest drivers firstComment
