Gah!!! Bad Fps

ive been runnig bf2 on this pc since novemeber no problems at all 70-80fps on 32 player maps 60 rock solid on 64 player maps

But in the last week or so i my frames per second has been really low

60 player/64 player map mashttur city
average frame rate was low 40s

64 player saquari pininsula

average frame rate mid 30s but went as low as 21 in some places

so i went to a 20 player server to see if the problem would be solved my frame rate was still low for my pc i got low 50s average

Wow you must be ****ed after you have spent so much money on your Rig to only get 40fps lol

Try doing some virus scans and Spyware scans.

Check that nothing in yuor case is overheating.

Happens to my friend with 4000+/1GB DDR400/7800GTX.

At 1280x1024 4xAA everything max (textures med) it drops to the 20's in the centre of Sharqi.

i remeber someone saying something about rolling back drivers if you have this problem

anyone have any ideas what the driver would be???

this could be a number of things....

the patch?
you got some spyware recently
you installed some new programs and you have too many running

probably not i remeber checking my fps after i downloded it no problems

just checked it using ad aware se only had tracking cookies

nope i closed the using task manager

could be the proccessor heatsink is clogged with dust and i cant see a way of getting it out


one other thing once in a while some application opens and my hard drive starts reading like hell making a violent clicking sound it lasts around 5 seconds and im unable to move the mouse properly
