I hear ya, I thought about it when I got my AMD recently, but decided that by the time they write the games for it, I will probably want a new rig (but board supports it anyway) :) Kind of wish I had it for when I am rendering lightmaps on my maps.

The new 3800+'s from newegg seem to be fairly good batch (mines LDBHE 0605), should be able to get it up to 2.4-2.6 without even trying.

well with my current OCZ I was able to hit 250 fsb on the P4. if I can hit that on the HTT, I will be very happy...

The one in my dad's machine is sitting toasty at 2.4ghz stock everything, so yours should be as good.

Enjoy, the Ultra card although dated is still plenty fast, mating it will a worthy CPU such as that was a smart move.

Dual core helps little with games, but it makes the computer experience butter smooth.

That will run fiine, and now there is no problem with running msn, iTunes (or other) BF2 etc at the same time.. especially as you have 2Gig of RAM.. have fun with her.. lol.. :P

And the Ultra is a great card, will do well.
