Re: not enuff power?
does your card use a power plug? (IE, a little power cable from your PSU into the GPU, isntead of drawing all the power from your AGP slot)
if so, try to stick it back in.
if you dont have one (which you probably dont its a 5200 -_-):
what PSU do you have, or how many watts?
since its a low end card, and all you did was get new drivers, I would say it is either the drivers problem. -
Re: not enuff power?
i dont think it uses a power plug...it seems to be running fine and i had used the drivers in the past...btw how do i check the voltage of my power supple? (its sortof hidden in the base of my comp and its like very big flat and retangularComment

Re: not enuff power?
It should be on the psu.. like a sticker.. it would also have a caution sign which would get your attention. Or you could look on the box of your pc case.Comment

Re: not enuff power?
it runs in my mothers pc with a 300 watt psu... with 2 hdds, 2 dvd drives, a sound card, pentium 4 2.0 gigaherz... with ease. it ran fine on a 250 watt aswell :S weird... maybe you didnt plug it in the slot correctly ? :P just a guessOriginally posted by TalusI've never even heard of that message before...the FX5200 wouldn't seem like a power hungry card..
I think the FX5600 and up started needing the molex connectors.Comment
