It's on teh install. Bf2 sounds great. I have a Creative Xfi Elite Pro which just makes me want to have an orgasm.
I couldn't resist. You are 14 years old and a soundcard makes you want to orgasm? Dude, you need to get a girlfriend as it is dangerous for a machine to make you come. Please for your own good, find a girl.

Yeah, I completely agree with you, for once.
Look at that. Another supposedly uncrossable gap that was spanned between Sir and J-Train, thank you easily excited 14 year old Australian boy. You should change you username to "Minuteman" or "minuteboy"

I just popped in my CD, it says Creative Entertainment Center at the install screen... not sure how much clearer I can be.
Wait so do you need a conerter if you plug it into the back?
nope... if you want to use normal headphones, like the one's you would use for A CD player, the back connectors work fine. Apparently if you want to use the 5.25" drive bay then you have to use an adapter.
I agree, Xtreme Music is the way to go. Same exact card, to the T. The difference lies in two places. One is in the face unit, which most people don't need. The only uselfull part is the headphone jack and it requires an adapter plug, and from most accounts it sucks. The second is the Xram. A lot of people mistakenly think that only the Fatal1ty has xram. This is incorrect. Every Xfi has Xram. however, only the Fatal1ty has 64mb. Everyother has 2mb. Sound like a huge difference? It's not. While processor cache size might seem slightly behind the time, it's a lot more pertinent. Xram however, might as well be the same as standard ram. While 1mb sucks, 64mb still sucks. Considering the price gap and that basically only BF2 currently supports it, and that it's a limited technology that not many are otherwise likely to embrace, it's a wasted investment.
Keep this in mind: BF2 came out before XFI, and from my numerous tech support calls and forum reads, Creative is pretty peed off that they chose them for their support base.

I didn't mean literally, you really should learn not to Prejudge people, just because I have a good sound card that luckily my parents bought me, does not give you the right to make accusations. You really have no idea who I am or what my social life is like., and just because I know a few things about Hardware, doesn't mean I sit infront of my computer looking at new egg for Hardware. Please, keep your stupid comments to yourself and don't bring age into this.
Want me to post pics of my girl ? PM, I'd be glad too. Better yet, go play with some guns.
