Ok my Ram divider in my Bios/advance/DRAM....Memoryclock only starts at 200mhz, i dont get it how come on other computer i see it starthing it at 100mhz and 133mhz. Is it because my ram sucks and its not made for overclocking or is it my motherboard? Coz what ever it is am about to throw it out the window because its been causing me so many problemes :wall:
It is probably your motherboard...but is 200 MHz before or after double data rate? Maybe for your motherboard, 200 MHz = 100 MHz x 2, 266 = 133 x2, etc

Yeah its possible 200mhz = DDR200 speed, etc...... Check your motherboard documentation, you should be able to lower your divider, and on some motherboard you can even raise the divider.

ok so whats the problem? The dividers are there, select one and go.
my cpu is at 240x10=2400mhz and my divider at 200mhz.
Witch makes my memory go to 120mhz What i wanna know is witch piece of hardware is making this divider so high starthing at 200mhz y can't i have it at starthing at 100mhz?...is it my mobo and my ram causing this probleme?
One more thing, how can i know whats the max mhz i can set on a ram stick?

i have coded a small and tiny tool, helping u guys calculating your real memory frequency, especially useful when applying uneven multipliers or multiplier 4! I have just implemented full dfi-specific memory divider support in v1.1, e.g. 183 or 150, so its quite handy for dfi users.

EDIT: Your ram runs native at a 200mhz actual clock speed. DDR200 = 100mhz, DDR400 = 200mhz. You want DDR400 for stock unoverclocked speed, and you want to keep your ram ~ around DDR400 when overclocked (unless you want to OC your ram and know it can take the abuse)
The memory speed is calculated taking the FSB and multiplying by a ratio. In the case of "400mhz speed" that ratio is 1 : 1 or one to one, meaning 240mhz FSB and 240mhz on the memory.
Different ratios put the ram at varying speeds. Its best to just use that memfreq tool to figure it out, some motherboard list the actual ratios, 3:2, 2:3, 4:5, 5:4 etc.... stuff like that, and other list mhz rating. When they list mhz they take the default of 200mhz FSB and calculate a ratio above or below that speed.
200MHz = DDR400. Don't confuse that. DDR400 memory DOES NOT run at 400MHz. It is memory running at 200MHz, but because its possible to send two instructions on one clock cycle, the EFFECTIVE speed of the memory turns out to be 400MHz. Since this isn't TRUE 400MHz, its called "DDR400."
Now that we got that cleared up, your motherboatd might show dividers any number of ways. The most common are as a DDR-speed, a MHz-speed, or a straightforward ratio. In your case, it is obviously a MHz-speed system. 200MHz (DDR400) is a 1:1 ratio. 166MHz (DDR333) would be a 6:5 ratio. 133MHz (DDR266) is a 3:2 ratio. And so on and so forth. You're currently running at a 1:1 ratio, since your memory is running at the same speed as your HTT (240MHz). To make the memory run at the stock 200MHz, you should set a 6:5 (DDR333/166MHz) divider.
