no. SDRAM and DDR RAM are totally different.
there is a socket-A board -- the ECS K7S5A -- that supports both SDRAM (pc133) and DDR RAM. however not simultaneously - its either/or. -

PC100/133 is 168 pin
PC2100 and up is 184 pin.Comment

DDR RAM is still SDRAM.
its always referred to as DDR SDRAM.
The difference in compatibility lies in the pins.Comment

the guy was asking if they were interchangeable. for all practical purposes they are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
and the differences are ONLY in the pins, huh? i see. so they just decided 'hey, lets add 16 pins to SDRAM, it might run faster'.Comment

Dont get so upset, i was just pointing out that DDR RAM is still, infact, SDRAM, but has differences that make it incompatible.
