I am thinking about buying this card tonight. VisionTek RADEON X1300 512MB DDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card. I am running a X300 128 right now.

Think this will work ok for BF2 and Special Forces for me???

You'd essentially be buying the same card you have now.. except with PS 3.0.

Not really an upgrade if you ask me.

Here is the deal. I have to buy a card at Best Buy, I have a store credit. SO buying a card somewhere else is out of the question for me. I cant spend more than $200. Running a 3ghz pentium, 1.5 gig of ram.

Then get a 6600gt, should be less than 200, even a best buy.

well how much of a credit do u have? also do u have PCI E or AGP.

Well I ended up buying the X1600 Pro PCI E with 512 ddr2. Ended up with a coupon that saved some money and threw in a few extra dollars.

Neither the x1300 or x1600 have anywhere close to enough bandwidth to utilize 512mb of ram.

Those 512mb cards are meant for video editing, which doesn't require massive bandwidth.

The card itself is fine, but the extra money spent on the extra 256mb of ram has been wasted in a gaming environment. It's never going to use it...ever.
