crap i need more help!

after many hours of using virus and spyware scanners, my comp still runs like crap
what else can be wrong? web browsers suck....can't download for crap....
mozilla firefox says i lose connection a lot....
pls help

system restore says it can't restore......
will i have to resort to cleaning my computer completely to it's factory installed programs?

Defrag Ftw :p It could also be a rather crap net connection but if programs are generally running slow that are not based on internet, there could be an overload of spyware. I reinstall my OS at least once a year to ensure good performace as I've noticed that eventually it degrades over a long time due to so much unwanted crap on your PC.

Also, another suggesting is downloading registry mechanic or Crap cleaner before your reformat.

You can always try this:

Open run from the start menu.
Write %temp%
Delete everything in the folder that comes up.

I had a lot of shït in that folder.
