Yeah...I just played BF2 for a couple of hours and had no problems at all with these temps.

Next time I get my PC out and all unhooked, I'll try adding another 120mm fan to the front. Otherwise, airflow feels like and cool.

Maybe I need a new PSU or something...

You'd be suprised on how a single fan can modify airflow and raise you case temp by 3 or 4 degrees. I placed a fan in 3 positiosn, first one near the bottom of the case, no real difference in temp, second time as a blow fan in the back, good amount of reduction of temp, not too much, then I placed it infront of the heat sink and in the middle of the case, the case got hotter 5 degrees, now it's over my GPU and I'm 4 degrees under room temp.

WHat fan config do u have now, i can help you with airflow.

2 x 120 mm in the back, top (blowing out)

1 x 120 mm fan in the front, mid-bottom in front of one of the hard drive bays (sucking in).

The ambient temp inside the case is 16 degrees.

Ok, u got pretty good airflow then. Especially if ur ambient is 16 degrees. So, do u run an A64 CPU, or a P4?

Man my GPU went up to 102C without and slowing down or problems, after I took my side panel off and put a fan near I top out at 73c yea uber cooling LoL

Do you mean 4 degrees over room temp? It is impossible to get UNDER room temp when running anything but a type of cooler.

Ok, u got pretty good airflow then. Especially if ur ambient is 16 degrees. So, do u run an A64 CPU, or a P4?

A64 3000+ currently overclocked to 2.2 GHz (thanks to help from Blackhearted and others here ) and my CPU idles at 31 C and loads at 42 C max.

Come this summer, I'm really gonna keep my eyes on my temps...particularly if I'm still running the same rig by then (hopefully not )

!? my 3200+ at 2.4, idles at 29C, and loads at 32C...

Do you mean 4 degrees over room temp? It is impossible to get UNDER room temp when running anything but a type of cooler.

I know it sounds impossible but according to speed fan and my Uguru clock and Case Temp Monitor it us (Not when running bf2), it is 4 deg cooler.

When running standard apps it is 4 degrees cooler. Sometimes 3.

Im sure many Lian-Li cases provide the same performance.

It is impossible. Obviously your sensors are off. Asus is notorious for reporting temps on average of 7 &#186;C lower than real temps.

Dual core Opteron 170 @ 2.8Ghz 1.47v bios:

idle: 32&#186;C
single load: 40&#186;C
dual laod: 48&#186;C

This is not on my the Pc Specified - This is with my AA8XE Mobo.

Room temp 34.0 C
Temp inside Case: 31.0 C

Perhaps I should add this case has 2 flows + strong blower fan for a total of 4 fans inside.

Yes I understand that IT IS what it the monitor says. But science and physics and the laws of heat say otherwise. You components cannot be colder than the air temperature. It is flat out impossible. Unless your computer does something that no other computer on earth can accomplish- create cold air out of warm to hot hardware.
