    hmm wouldnt know, dont really know anything about laptops accept that they are hard to upgrade, just go to your local computer shop and ask them, they will probably can, to open up your laptop, if you cant do that yourself... they will put the ram in... and if that costs too much you just ask them to open the thing... emm im gonna check if your ram is compatible now :P

    hmm it says SO ram and you sayd you have SD ram... but sd ram doesnt go with a laptop i thought...well wait for some of the other guys to response but my advise is, although they are more expensive, let some dude check what your ram is at that computer shop so you can get your ram, they open it up you put in ram and than they close it again :P

        @redearedslider:
        The RAM is SODIMM SDRAM..

        If you don't know anything about laptops, then why reply in a laptop hardware thread?

                          Jeez stop posting in this thread. your leaking with stupidity.

                          The RAM modules for today's laptops are called SODIMMS (as opposed to just DIMM in a desktop PC)

                          Basically they are just smaller.

                          You will need a 200pin SODIMM DDR2 module, obviously at 400mhz.

                              There you go again..

                              A SODIMM is still SDRAM, its just a smaller DIMM than what is used in a desktop.

                              Desktop RAM is not called SDDDIMM, its called SDRAM, just as in a laptop its SODIMM not SORAM.

                              I only was a jerk about it because Talus already told you that you were wrong and you continuted to post flawed information.
