    could sound settings cause comp lag?

    could the settings i put for sound cause some comp lag, because ive seen people with worse specs than mine, have it on higher settings.

    EAX: Disabled

    Video Settings: 1280x1024
    Terrain: Med
    Effects: High
    Geometry: Med
    Texture: Med
    Lighting: Med
    Dynamic Shadows: High
    Dynamic Lighting: Med

    Texture Filtering: High
    View Distance: 100%

    You need to lower your shadows and light setting's. It makes a world of difference. I am suprised that you cant run high already at 4x aa. I fyou drop your sound to medium and enable eax, lower your light and shadows and run everything else high, you should be good.

      Yes, depending on what audio card you have, enabling hardware can cause major lag. Also, ignore mrbucket.
