Hi,

I have been more than dissapointed in my gaming experience with BF2 i have only been playing since Jan this year.

My PC was running terrible with major lag issues and waiting times to load games was a joke (5 min + ) maybe it was shorter but it was a terribly long time waiting.

My system was running all medium setting with 1 gig ram, 9800xt 3gig XPsp2 running like a real dog most of the time I realize i could of run on low settings to improve game play but why.!! im a junkie for great detail ..

I installed 2 1 gig sticks of ram last nite it is now running absolutely fantastic load times are about 30 sec and i have also increased some settings and screen res. IM EXCITED

I have heard about this game working well with 2 gig ram but i was shocked:|: am very happy with the performane increase.

If others are considering upgrading to 2 gigs JUST DO IT. IT IS MONEY VERY WELL SPENT.

Just thought i would share this with other noobs out there..

Another great thing i noticed last nite was with the fast load speeds i had my pick of any vehicle, jet, heli i wanted.
where as before i got to ride on the back of a jeep or maybe drive it if i was lucky.....

2 Gig makes Alt+Tab 'n in & out to do other stuff smooth as butter also.

gonna get 2 x 1 gig g.e.i.l ram next month... i've been hearing too many positive stories lol :P... but the game still runs smooth on 1 gig though just depends on how full your HD is...

gonna get 2 x 1 gig g.e.i.l ram next month... i've been hearing too many positive stories lol :P... but the game still runs smooth on 1 gig though just depends on how full your HD is...

I just went from 4x512 to 2x1024 (plus 2x 512) all Corsair. The difference is scary!

lol i stuck with Windows 2000 till just around SP2 was rolling out.

So your saying 3 gig is even better than 2 gig.....OMG...
