dont get the MX series, I dont think there is such thing as an MX6200, but if there is, dont go MX.

I'd say if you're not going to upgrade to PCIe, atleast get the top of line AGP card to run games. It will last probably for a couple more years compared to if you were to get a lower end AGP card. So I'd say get the 7800GS. eVGA has a superclocked version of it that does well.

Indeed. I ordered mine (7800 GS) this morning. I like the evga offerings so that's what I went for. On newegg, it is less than $300 USD including shipping.

but pci-e are better
like I could get agp or pci-e thanx for the info on the agp has helped me alot
I will have to spend to much to get decent performance so I will decide to go with pci-e

NO its either one or the other. Depends on what your motherboard supprts. And honestly, why are you so attracted to that overpriced cbit site and crap cards? tigerdirect.ca has much better prices and a pretty good record

I would think that you would return it to the manufacturer, not the store. The two cards I posted earlier are both made by eVGA, which has a very good warranty policy

You can get a 6800GS for about $200. I have the BFG OC version and it runs BF2 on Mostly high settings at 50-60 fps. AWESOME card for the money.

yeah all I really want it to do is play I dont need it to be on high as long as it plays

The best video card is simply the nicest one you can afford.

You should enjoy that one for a few years to come.

hopefully your still looking at this post, cause I want to sort some things out.
If you're planning on getting a new motherboard too, you might as well get a PCIe board and a PCIe graphics card. AGP is getting really old and is being replaced with PCIe, so getting a PCIe board will allow you for future graphics card upgrades.
But just to make things easier, it would be helpful if you posted what parts you have in your computer right now and your budget for the whole upgrade.
