bios flashing on dell

Hey, there are probably other places I can find this, but I decided to ask here because I was already on the site. My old computer which I handed down contained this:
a dell dimension 4550
2.53ghz pentium 4
256mb ram (upgraded to 512)
nvidia mx420 AGP 4x (upgraded to nvidia 5700LE 128mb)

The BIOS , since it is from dell, does not let you overclock at all. I was wondering if it is possible to flash them so that is IS possible to overclock. If it possible Ill find the mobo type and look for some compatible BIOS and overclock this puppy ^_^. just wondering, its not that important but it would be kinda fun.

Well...actually you might be able to.

When I had my eMachines I found an unofficial support site for them which had custom BIOS's for this very reason.

If you dig deep enough into google with the right search phrase, you might get lucky.

If found, it will be completely at your risk if you use it, it could render your Dell worthless if botched.
