Yet another laptop question

My brother is a truck driver, so he needs a laptop for his job. However, he wants to be able to play Battlefield 2, so asked me to look at a system. I have found some ideals and am looking at the following system. Does this look like it should be able to play the game?

ABS Mayhem G4
Pentium M 750, 1.86Ghz, 533 FSB, 2MB cache
NVidia 6600 256 MB MXM Type II
Transcend 512 MB(x2 1Gig), DDR2, PC2-4200
80 Gig 7200 rpm HD

I will probably get a laptop cooler also.

I think that the laptop can play battlefield 2 but it would work better with a greater processer and 1 GB more ram, but i think that you can. The only way to find out of it, is to try and install it on it

LAPTOP COOLER IS A MUST! I used to play on my laptop on low settings but before I brought a cooler after about 5min of playing my laptop would get red hot(almost hot enough to cook a egg on) and lag like a bitch. After I brought the cooler I could play without any lag but still only on low settings. My psecs were:
Intel pentium M 1.73GHZ
1024mb ram
Ati mobility Radeon 9700pro

I wouldn't advise using a laptop for gamming unless its got a really good graphics card, that 6600 256mb I don't think will handle it very well. Try looking for a laptop with a better graphics card and maybe an AMD proc.

that seems like a good lappy to play on low-medium settings, maybe medium. I say that is a good buy, you might be able to find something better but that is a pretty good deal

That laptop is pretty good, and it should run at the settings sackynut said. The proc is great, though the graphics card could be improved.
