Saitek EVO Force wont work in BF2..

Joystick problem..

Im not very good with pc's...I only got my 1st pc last year so please be gentle.. I have a nice Saitek evo force joystick that doesnt want to work with BF2, It wont recognise input from the stick when I try to map the buttons, It works fine with all other games.. It has worked previously in BF2 but stopped for some reason... possibly after being patched..

Ive searched both the Saitek EA sites for others having the same prob with no joy! I have tried re-installing the game and the drivers to no avail..

U think using driver cleaner before a re-install of the drivers might help? or does the problem lie elsewhere?

Do you have any other controllers plugged into your PC? Gamepads? Another joystick perhaps? BF2 doesn't like more than one controller plugged in at a time.

Also does the joystick work okay in other games? Using driver cleaner probably wont make much difference to be honest.

it's a Saitek joystick, of course it won't work, and if it does somehow work, it won't for long.

Dump it and get a Logitech.

dont listen to this muppet i have used saitek for many years and had no trouble at all..


has it been dropped out of the controls since the patch ?

Try to reinstall the game yet?? maybe that will do it.
