    DDR or DDR2?

    Which is better?
    Why?

    Kinda been thinkin about gettin DDR2, but I don't know whats so special about it:|:

        You motherboard will either suppost DDR, or DDR2, not both. They are not interchangable. You can only use one or the other. Get it?

            Well only Intel supports DDR2, so you should decide what kind of CPU you want, not what RAM you want. The RAM is inconsequencial.

                AMD's new AM2 platform will support DDR2, but it's not due out for awhile.

                    I guess speed is the difference also overclockability I belive, wait for AM2, so you can get DDR2 AND AMD. I might get it if I have the cash.

                      I might go for am2, especially since it might support ddr2 800 ram, which would be awsome.
