Watercooling, we all hear good things about it. But some companys abuse the watercooling craze by bringing out cheap kits which seem to be "bargains", when in reality they SUCK.

First in mind comes the Thermaltake Big Water SE, honestly, just get a Zalman 9500 or SCYTHE NINJA and you will get the same effect. Its not worth it.

I see alot of users here pulled into this crappy kits by the price. Watercooling is expensive, from the blocks to the radiators to the cases to support them. So expect to spend alot, compared to air cooling.

DANGER DEN is always a star when it comes to watercooling, its just one of the best, with great quality products.

AQUA COMPUTER products are beautiful styled, perfect for lian li cases. But some may agree that they are a tad overpriced.

Now its all good and well that you have the money and thinking of buying a watercooling kit, but you need a case to support it. I highly reccomend the COOLERMASTER STACKER 810.

You can place a 2x120mm radiator easily on the front or bottom, with acres of space. It looks so good and IS BETTER THAN THE THERMALTAKE ARMOR.

Basically, to sum it up-

IF YOU ARE GOING TO WATERCOOL, DO IT PROPERLY OR DONT BOTHER AT ALL

actualy there are only two big tips you ned to concirder when using water cooling .

First of all, use non conductive fluid , when it starts to leak, no problem.

second, use a temp monitoring program with an alarm on it, also enable alarms in the bios , when fluid leaks, you don't see it, temps start to rise, system gives you an alarm and after reaching a certain temp shuts down


and it are not only the watercooling kits who are the problem but actualy most of the time the people who installed it, I put Pc s togheter on reguler base and also repair stuff, sometimes I get some pc's with a watercooling in it who failed and leaks , but if you look good you see tons of things who are actualy the fault ofthe guy who mounted it .

- the tubes you use for watercooling are from silicone , silicon can't stand hard and sharp object, but still people use a shear to mount those things, or metal rings to tighten up the tubes, they tighten up to hard and use material with bad finishing wich is offcourse cutting in the tube

i wish it would fit in my case =(

i want the Ultra Full tower, its so sick looking, or a chieftec dragon, but Im way to lazy to move all the parts. So im fine for now at 34C load on my CPU and 68Cload on my GPU's ^_^
