uhmm i have 2 questions

1>pc monitor affects the game performance cause im using a old one like refresh rate about 60hertz AcerView54el

2>if the monitor affects gaming performance what kind of monitor should i buy

No it won't effect the game performance in FPS, but it's a good idea to buy a monitor with at least 70Hz. and if it's an LCD/TFT a 12ms/8ms/4ms rate.

dont bother with a lcd or tft for gameing there a waste of time, the higher the refresh rate the better the performance you get, i use a crt because when i move around in game very quickly its a pin sharp picture, and with tfts and lcds screen when u move around fast the scenery in the distance goes all blurry, not very good at all. and run games on at least 85htz, or better still if your CRT monitor allows it 100htz. ive got a new 19" lcd monitor which cost a fortune, but its no where as good as my CRT monitor for performance! CRTs rule for gaming.
