upgrading MOBO, need advice..

HEy all, I finally found an AGP MOBO for my Dimension 3000, its an ASUS, it has 5 PCI slots and 1 AGP slot, 8X I think.

Anyway, I have a VID-card Q and then a PSU Q. First, whats a good Nvidia AGP interfaced card for BF2 that works well with a P4/2.8ghz and will allow me to run BF2 on atleast all medium with no lag. Second, the PSU, I only have a 250watt PSU right now, I was thinking of running this GEforce5500 along with whatever AGP card I get, The 5500 requires 250Watts, How does that work with running 2 cards? Would I need 2 PSU's?

For the card, go with a 6800gs, good price and excellent performance.
For the psu, I'd go with this:

Note: Is the 5500 pci or agp?

Yea the 5500 is PCI. Just found out I wont be able to run 2 different cards at the same time. That was me jumping ahead of the subject. Thanks for the Intel though people.

Just make sure that mobo will fit properly in the case, with dell its not always guaranteed.

The only thing I'm worried about having problem with is the PSU.

CAn I ask the obvious question? Why are you putting all of this effort and $$ into upgrading your Dell? Why not just build a new PC from scratch? All of th effort hardly seems worth it. I mean, if you are upgrading the Mobo, why not just start over. Also, where did you fin a Mobo that will fit a Dell chassis? It seems pretty silly to me. Just my two cents, alwasy appreciated I am sure.

Dude did u not read that ThreaD? Thats where I found the MOBO, second I'm getting it from Ebay where the auction has 1 day left and its only @ $60 bucks right now. So I'm not buying it from tigerdirect for $110. The PSU I will most lilkely be getting off ebay too. I already saw the same one with the buy it now option for $110. And the Card, well we'll see how that goes. Anyway, I won't be spending over $400 on this project, and you want me to come up with atleast $600 or $700 most likely more to build a new one? I think not pilgrim , I'm a broke ass college student and don't have ends like that. If you wanna organize a fundraiser for me, I'll go cop a GD XPS 600, until then understand where I'm going with this.
