Glad you got your rig up and running. I've been getting the same feeling about my PC. Constant crashes, failed start-ups, dreadful performance. I'm doing a low-level format on Friday...

Have you got a tower with windows? 'cos are you gonna' put some LEDs in? I'm considering doing the whole LED 'business' with watercooling when I upgrade my PC for Vista and Dx10...

I've got a window, but I'm not planning on doing any LEDs or stuff. I prefer the "sleeper" look. Just a plain looking beige box that will kick your ass.

One reason why prebuilt computers are good, YOU CAN BLAME SOMEONE ELSE :P.

Good job on that rig, BUT, I would of got a dual core, and maybe slacked off on the Graphic card, but thats just me.

Yes it was $230 and change. And will overclock much, much farther. 3800+ X2s are about $297.

lol nice rig tho. i was gonna get the DFI lan-party and the OCZ gold but then found out amd2 coming out so am waithing... but nice rig fo real l'et see how much are you gonna overclock the opteron 148 :-)!

I can boot to windows at 3.0Ghz @ 1.475 volts. I'm still tweeking though.

2.86Ghz Prime stable at stock voltage.
