Hey I know I have looked at the forums and all at the different graphic cards, but I am upgrading. I am going to put a new agp-slot style card in my comp. I need a good one that will run BF2 for less than $200. I thought about purchasing the Nvidia GeForce 6600 256 MB, but i didn't see it listed on the site. Will this run it? If not then will the ATI Radeon 9550. If both, will one run much better than the other?

go with the 6600gt, or a 6800 if you can find one cheap enough. Also the x800GTO ATi card will work good.

Get either a 6600gt, 6800gs, or a x800gto2 all should be under 200.

7800GS is out in AGP.

It will probably be the last of the AGP cards so you might want to shoot for it.

You may as well spend your money on a PCIe board and PCIe graphics card for that kind of money.

My board is 939 and 754 but no PCI express.

If you can go about $15 over your limit, you can get a 6600GS, which with a decent PC, can play bf2 on high.

One related question, is a 6600 256mb better or worse than a 6600GT 128mb with higher C. and M. clocks?

I think the 6600GT is better than the 6600 256, because the the 6600 uses normal DDR/DDR2 while the GT uses GDDR3. And I've never seen a 6600 to benchmark better than a GT.

Well i have dual Pentium Xeon 2.8 ghz processors. I need a decent card. Like, I was looking on the internet and can find some at like 150-175. the 6600 GT was like $160. In the stores next to me they are like $250. So, should i be aware if I buy from an online store? Other than the normal reasons like you can't see it and stuff like that?
