I'm looking for a new 19 inch lcd to replace my NEC 90gx2(has very poor colour, and light bleeds from all sides). I was just wondering whats another good monitor to try out.

Samsung's are terrific. I would also recommend this one, or the 914v, not as fast (12ms), but cheaper.Originally posted by lil_jimmy_nortonI've got a Samsung 930B and love it.Comment

Viewsonic Vx924 19 inch Digital Lcd with 3m responce time .
Its my first LCD after using a Viesonic p95f+ 19' flatscreen crt(2 monitor now) . took awhile to get used to using 1280x1024@75 after being spoiled by my crt 1600x1200@85 lol . As for the LCD well its damn expensive but its one of the fastest LCD out there . The color is great and it has the Viewsonic Ultra bright setting . Ultrabright comes in handly on darker maps

Re: Good 19 inch LCD for Games
Yeah, but running two 128's in sli doesn't give you very similar performance. Anything under 12ms is fast. The video card itself makes for the quickness and smoothness. Especially when you turn quick and get a little blur. It's not the monitor, it's the card pumping the textures as fast as it can to keep up.Originally posted by tw33k2514so is SLI'd 512MB GTX's but does that stop people noComment

Re: Good 19 inch LCD for Games
Now guys in your opinion what is the better monitor, the Viewsonic 922x or the 924x. Looking at the specs, it seams the 922x is the superior, having the higer contrast ratio, and the faster response time(i know its meaningless at that speed). Also it seams to be the more expensive of the 2 where ever i look.Comment
