Re: dell dimension 3000
I will go on a limb and say NO.
Reasons are as follows: (From the dell site)
-Integrated Video card (64mb) (Which I guess could be replaced but you arelimied to PCI cards.
-Only PCI slots (No AGP or PCIe)
-Limited to 1GB RAM (while you can play on 1gb... 2 has been shown to provide improvement to game play.
Overall I would say NO.

Re: dell dimension 3000
Yeah I would recommend building your own. If you don't know how, and have the money, customize one on Dell.com
Very expensive that way though..Not recommended..

Re: dell dimension 3000
No... Without a vid card.. simply put.. no... BF2 wont even start without a vid card that has AT LEAST 128MB of Video RAM. Upgrading is possible, but you would need a new mobo, vid card and prob new CPU, and so thats like half a pc right there thats needed.

Re: dell dimension 3000
I had a Dell 2350 with 512MB of RAM and it ran BF2 fine on low settings, your problem is finding a PCI card that will work with BF2. I had a Visiontek 9100, but I don't think they sell them anymore.

Re: dell dimension 3000
Your better off getting a different PC, or if you have that one.. getting a new one rather than upgrading.
