    Zalman Fatal1ty FS-7V

    Okay,

I bought that cooler, but I'm not brave enough to try to install it due to this:
The memory thingies, where you put the 8 things what come with the package (you can check from zalmanusa.com), are smaller than in my Sapphire R9600XT 256Mb. Take a look at this.

I have that long ones. Does it interrupt the installing/use? Can I install it safely?

when you roder it, it says what cards it is compatable with. And if it is compatible with your card, then dont worry bout it. they dont look covered anyways.

j-train, I mean like, the 4 things what's near the cooler in that picture. They should not be that long IMO, and I asked your help. I don't know if my card is compatible, it says that Radeon 9600XT Bytel Sapphire 128, and 256 is compatible, but if you google images from 9600XT, there is smaller memory thingies in the cards. And I have Sapphire 9600XT 256Mb with those longer ones, and I don't know should I even try to install it. What am I gonna do?

So, will it break the video card if the ram heatsinks are not the same size than the ram in the video card? Will it interrupt the cooling?

I don't know if it will hinder the cooling since it doesn't cover but im sure it won't break the video card though. Check the mounting holes on your video card compared with this:

Yeah theyäre the same. It didn't fit the card and I had to cut some of the copper sticks to fit it in. It works OK now, though.

You need to contact Zalman about this. They will give you an answer and you then have a record of them saying yes/no so if it does FUBAR the card, you have some recourse.
