    Athlon XP 2400+ Help

    Hey I have the cpu above, but I'd like to adjust it's clock speeds to 2400mhz. At the moment it's running at 2000mhz. Steps on how to get it at 2400mhz would be ace.

    can your BIOS overclock? just OVerclock it slowly until you get to 2400. You might have to slow down your ram, and multiplyers etc. basically learn about OCing first. google: overclockers forums.

      I can but I don't know what numbers to clock it at, would like timings etc

        OK well just try and increase the FSb a little.. so say its at 200, try 205, then restart and check temps.. etc, then try 210.. etc etc... just take small implements.. and google its first, google "overclocking how to", or somethign like that.

          2400mhz seems a bit much for a xp 2400+ i had one in my old rig and it was warm even at stock 2000mhz

          i could be wrong however as i never tried overclocking it
