    RAM Upgrade

Currenty, I have 2 sticks of 512MB and 2 sticks of 256MB of Corsair Value Select (1.5GB total). Will I see a huge increase in performance if I purchased another 2 sticks of 512MB and took out the 2 sticks of 256MB (2GB total). The rest of my specs are in sig.

No, I don't think you would see a large performance increase.

you will see a small to medium-small difference, I dont know if it is worth it to you. But, not only will you be getting another half gig, but you will have dual channel, that is, if you get the SAME EXACT ram as the first two sticks.

Yea, loading will be a bit faster, and the start of rounds will not lag as much, if they do at the moment at all.

Hmm...So if you want dualchannel, you don't need two sticks, it can work on 4 sticks, or 3 sticks if they are the same model of ram?

you need two, or 4 sticks of the same exact type lined up together, on a mobo that supports dual channel.

Okay...I'm just asking, i'm not sure if my mobo (nVidia nForce 2 NF7) can handle DualChannel?

Hmm .. I already get into the round fast enough (Usually the 3rd or 4th in). My RAM already runs in Dual Channel btw, so there won't be THAT much of a performance boost?

Correct, you already have enough ram, save your money for a different upgrade.
