New to the game here, its very good.

Anyone point me in the direction of a thread which explains the rankings (ie going from Pvt to Pvt 1st Class, to Lance Cpl.) and weapon upgrades ?

I seem to have the points for Lance Cpl. (ive 594) but am stuck on Private 1st Class, I got a message while playing saing youve made lance cpl. do i need to activate it somehow ? I've looked in the manual and on the Wikipedia page but cant seem to find anything ?

If one of you guys could point me in the direction of a thread which explains the whole upgraing thing it would be bonza !!

Welcome, and just try searching, usually brings up alot of threads, but it will help you out alot.

Hey welcome.

Just play some more and it will come to you. When you stand for a promotion you have to logout and in again and then you have to kill one, then you should get you promotion, if it is not comming just play some more and it will come to you
