Hey there guys, I recently just got a new NEC 90GX2 19 inch monitor, which was at first the best I had ever seen, but have recently discovered it has very poor colour blending(lots of banding) due to it being a TN+FILM lcd and having only 6 bits of color per pixel, which is very apparent in my ironsights, and any dark surfaces. It also seems to have trouble in general blending dark colours(most apparent in Doom 3).
Now I was just looking for some imput on a similarly priced LCD, with a response time preferably below 12 ms, brightness at 300cd/m2(preferably 400) and supports true 24bit(16.7 milllion) color, unlike the GX2.
I was recommended the HP f1905b by someone on another forum, if anyone has had any experience with this monitor, I'd be glad to hear some feedback.
