    All because I wanted BF2..

    OOOOOK..
    heres the deal

To avoid lag I was going to buy an AMD 64 processor, but i cant get one for the socket of my motherboard. And since I havent found a motherboard that supports SDRAM instead of just DDR, I was thinking of just getting a new computer with a bad graphics card maybe so I can replace it with a good GeForce or something.
I was also going to sell this one, if anyone would actually buy it..

Question 1: What computer do you think I should buy?(not very expensive)

Question 2: Do you know how much I could get for this computer?
    Here are the specs:

    Intel P4 1.80GHz
    768MB RAM
    nVIDIA GeForce MX4000 (128mb VM)
Added a 4 slot USB PCI card
    Windows XP Home Edition
    Realtek AC97 Audio Card

      for your computer: like $200.

as for getting a computer. buy something simple, like a AMD Athlon 64 3200+. 1 gig of ram. a geforce 6600gt or 6800gs. www.cyberpowerinc.com. Great site with great prices.

yeh 1 Gig recommended, I went from a 512MB ram to a 1GB and I seen great preformance with it.

build your own even though ibuypower and cyberpower dot rip you off as much as dell or alienware i still see about 150-200$ in saved cash if you just build it yourself

Re: All because I wanted BF2..

if your 15, and dont know the first thing about building, I dont recommend it no matter who says its not that hard. ibuypower.com and cyberpowerinc.com over charge by 200$ Maximum. You usually get what you pay for and have no issues because they are pros so you wont run into problems.
