Im looking for an extra fan cooler that would mount in a slot next to my graphics card to keep it cooler. My video card fan is a bit loud so I notched the fan speed down but now its getting a bit hot. Does anyone have suggetions for a cooler (not one that would go directly on the card, but outside like in one of the pci slots) $20-$30 dollars would be ideal. Thanks

if you dont want a brand new heatsink for the card, which I can understand take a look at these:
^ that fits into a PCIexpress x1 slot, or a PCI slot and can blow onto the card with dual fans. 20$.
^ this goes in a PCi slot too and is a exuast system blower. It will lower your overall temp, but I dont think it will help with the video card much. -

I have that same slot cooler it works good and pushes a good deal of air, also the cooler can be faced away from the video card so it does not fight your video card fan for air, since video card fans blow in and expell hot air back into the case. The pci slot cooler will help remove the hot air from the video card out the case.Originally posted by sackynut
