    Headsets

    Hey all!

I need to buy a headset for BF2 but theres thousands of them out there.
I know nothing about headsets. Whats better, 3.5mm plugs or USB?
Any suggestions on a good headset would be really nice :)
My budget is a max of £25.

    Thx!

    Re: Headsets

If you have a decent sound card, don't get USB because using USB bypasses your sound card. I prefer 3.5mm "mini" jacks over USB.

I like my Logitech headset a lot, but I have nothing to compare it to... they can be had for cheap on eBay.

What I'd REALLY like but I can't find is this headset. Not sure if it sounds good, but it seems cool as heck!

USB is if you have a crappy sound card. I Hightly recommend these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826106009

Audio90's are cheap (price wise), perform excellently, and dont break. They havent failed me yet and I can hear all my games perfectly, like when people are trying to sneak up on me. They are awesome. Yes, you can get better oens for over like $60, but the audio90's are only 20$ online and 40$ at a store and they ROCK! top of the line IMO

            Re: Headsets

LMAO!!! You can go into windows sound settings and set it so voices only go through the USB and sound goes through the sound card!!! ROFL!!!!

I got my SOCOM Headset hooked up and works perfect. C'mon you never figured that out!~

***PS: USB is much better quality and control.

My brother bought me some 100 $ USB headset. Not really worth it though. Never pay 100 $ on a mic.
