Today was brutally boring at work... (I hope to get fired) so I was entertaining myself all day by chilling in forums...

In the hardware part I fell on this thread because I have a 6600GT

Funny thing is

I GOT A 300W Power Supply...
XP3000+
1 Gig Ram
2 IDE hdd's
1 CD-Writter
Nforce2 Mobo

I am just shocked that none of my games crashed after installing the 6600GT...

This shows how much quality Antec Power Supplies have...
(probably High Amp Support) ill check when I get home.

Antecs are good yes, but others are good as well. I was told that Ultra's used to be good except for lately, but my Ultra (which I just purchased) 500W works like a friggin dream. O yeah, and I would plan on getting a new one just incase, 300W on all that + a 6600gt is pushing it.

antec PSU's are quality.. my 480W is a dynamo!

My 680W aspire turbocase version is dynamo!. :P
I gotta have that to power my 7800GT anyways. lol but it is still a sweet psu for only 130.

I have an AMD 3700+, 6800gt and 2 gigs of ram running on a 400W antec power supply. So far so good.

I am lucky because my 300W didnt explode yet.

When I first started work here we had

A Novell authentication server
clients machines were a mix of
win95, win98, win2000 and some XPHOME

everything was crashing, getting 40 calls a day to fix **** up.

Now its
Windows2003 authentication
For some users using Novell required applications go thru dual authentication
All Windows2000 clients

and now I am lucky if I get 5 calls a day...

However, the amount of Office bullcrap going on in this company can make people insane... (this place is very VERY depressive)

I hope to get fired soon, recently got bombarded with such pointless crap...
(Tomorrow, and after Tomorrow, I will be home because I will have a ski accident tonight... for all they need to know...

Well i just looked at the PSY in this PC.. and its quite embarasing (its very old.. very very old.. as mine is down at the moment) and its 200W... lol mind you its not running much.. :p
