blue-ray will win because it has a bigger storage 50G better than hd-dvd 30G

Plus it also has a lot more companies behind it (Sony, Phillips, Samsung, Dell, HP, Pioneer, and more...) Not to mention that the PS3 will be using it.

On the other hand, HD-DVD is supposed to be more user-freindly and cost a lot less to make than Blu-Ray. It also has the same basic structure as DVDs so converting current DVD manufacturing lines into HD-DVD lines should be a lot simpler.

We'll just have to wait and see.

blue ray is only a test run tho.
Ps3 is set to use it but it could face problems

I really like the capacity of blu-ray, but I really don't like the new drm it's gonna use. HD-DVD on the other hand seems a little more pro consumer, so I hope it wins.

I would love to be able to have 50 Gig worth of data on one disk.. imagine... but there are good points about the HD-DVD too... but i think ill go for the blu-ray
