im looking for a new video card and i found this one.

(the price is in Canadian Dollars) usually i see these cards at altleast $250 but this one at regular price is at $200. so i was wondering if this is not a cheaper version and to make sure it is the same as the other 6800XT's. also is it better than the X700 pro?

better than the x700 series? yes. good deal? no (as for american dollars). Im not sure exactly how canadian dollars amounts into US dollars, but the 6800xt is at the bottom of the 6800 series performance list. I would suggest looking for the 6800gs, its only 200 US dollars and performs better than the xt.

The person who was dealing with the naming of the graphic's card at Nvidia industries is a complete idiot and probably hates ATI.

For using the word XT on a nvidia it means that it sucks, but in the contrary for ATI it is the platnium like version, of course its too much of a coincidence for Nvidia to have done this unpurposely, at the end its just hate.

get a 6600GT does the trick and its a lil under that price.

i was thinking of getting the 6600GT but i would like to get a graphics card with 256mb

I still recommend the GS, its about 20$ more, but performs much much better and runs cooler. and has 256mb of memory!
