Is Coop Server possible

I realize this may be in the wrong forum but I couldn't find a Server specific one. My grandson and I would like to play coop against some bots. Is it possible to setup a server that would allow he and I to login and also have bots (6 our team + us two humans and 8 the other side)?

Well to the farthest of my knowledge this is what you can do:
The host, starts a single player game with himself and the computers. While the game is loading, next to the server name will be an IP address. On your grandsons computer, go to multiplayer, than "connect to ip" and type in the address listed, he will than connect to your single player game.
But, because of the way the game is made, you can both play on the same team but it would be 9 on 7, or 8 on 8 (you v him)
