    Greetings comrades!

Hello! Just the practical upshot of why I joined these forums:

I want to heavily modify Battlefield 2 and turn it into my own computer game. (No legal stuff, not redistributing it or something) The reason I'm starting by using BF2 is because I want to skip the programming and game-engine creating. I do not own the full BF2, just the demo, which should suffice for what I want to do. Just for the record, it's not because of the horrible price but for other reasons. Before I get slammed like the hundreds of other people who want to mod the game and know nothing about a 3d modeling tool, I DO have some experience with G-max and can do quite a bit with it. In fact, I have joined a group of modelers called IRIS who sell aircraft for Flight Simulator 2004. Here is a Sukhoi Su-27 I am working on:

That was taken from a source file, but I had to rebuild most of it because of the polygon count. (Flight Sim has an 80,000 poly limit) I only wish I had a newer screenie with much more work, but I just had a computer crash.
Here is a Kamov Helix I have made:

Both aircraft don't have smooth modifier yet applied, whhich is why they look "blockish".

I'd like some modeling help, which is why I joined. I want to know how to arrange parts and export stuff and things like that, because that is what's different and is not the same in Flight Sim. If it's okay to ask, does anyone know some good BFS-mod-specific forums?

        Oh yeah, levithian bump!

Accualy, I got over my common sense and got the full version! If I keep having this much fun jumping Humvees at Karkand I'll never get to the modding part!

Great game, only complaint I have is that when you're in an APC or tank or any vhiecle for that matter, you pretty much own all infantry. Seems a bit owerpowered. I heard that the Special Forces addon fixes that. Is it worth the money?

Another problem is that when I try to install the BF2 Editor it says "You must install Baattlefield 2". Uhhh... Okay... Would anyone be kind enough to send me the unzipped version and tell me where to put it?

        Thanks, Vertigo
