A 7800 gt or gtx will NOT be obsolete in a year's time. That is ridiculous. Games don't even take advantage of the SM3 yet. The cards are pulling ridiculous frames on games. When they are barely able to get 30 fps on a game they are obsolete. It's almost unplayable at that point. Everyone seems to get at least 70 fps(for those who have no hardware issues) with the gt.

Yes i've been using staticice.com.au for a long time. It's helped me with alot of upgrades. The Leadtek 6800GS 256MB for AU$343 is the best offer I can find at the moment (After InnoVISION and PixelView). Blak_Pheonix_MB, have you purchased from MSY before? I've heard they have ridiculously long queues ...

Well, I havn't really made up my mind just yet, but I am leaning towards the 6800GS. Does anyone have some screenshots of BF2 with the 6800GS or the X1600XT and can you tell me what video settings you use in BF2? Thanks alot.
