OK now, I put in new ones only, works perfectly, just as with old only.

There seems to be somekind of conflict, anyone know whats wrong?

Are they both IDENTICAL? As in same type or modules on them, same timings? What slots are you using them each in?

They are supposed to be 100% identical, so it shouldn't matter what DIMM each is in...

Actually: The old ones only support 166mhz, 2.5-3-3-7, while the new ones have both 2.5-3-3-7 AND 2.0-3-3-6 or something like that.

loosen the timings before adding the new ram. Try 2.5-3-3-7.

Thats what they are on.

But the new ones are ALSO on 2.0-3-3-6 @ 133MHzb

ok now, found out my PSU, its a Chieftec ATX 2.0 HPC-360-202DF 360W.

Is that maybe the problem?

imo dual channel is that big of a performance jump, but thats a whole 'nother thread argument

You can't have two timings at once. You need to manually set them in the bios.

Depends, adding two new memory modules wouldnt require that much more power. How many hard drives and CD drives to you have?

Yes, I put them on 166MHz, I'm pretty sure they are, the new ones just seem to support 133mhz aswell.

I don't think you are understanding what I'm saying. Put in one set of ram in your first and 3rd slot (whatever the first dual channel slots are). Go into your bios and manually set your timings to 2.5-3-3-7, save and exit. Turn off your PC and add the second set of ram. Go back into your bios and see what the timings are. Can you get into bios with all your ram in?

My dad said that its probably has someting to do with the AGP Apartus or something alike, since I only crash when I run 3D programs, I can run for a little, then it crashes, like if the new ones take over (the RAM goes over 512mb) it crashes.

Yes you can do it at the same time. I was under the impression it wouldn't boot with both.
