Can a mobo slow your comp down significally? I mean can you see a clear difference on fps and so on if you have a cheaper or more expensive mobo used in the same settings/system?

I mean I have my mobo (on the sig) it wasn't the most expensive one so could it slow my comp down a bit or do mobos really do that kinda thing?

(I mean no 1-2 fps difference but like to 5-10< difference?)

Basically no, unless there is a problem with the mobo from the start. The more expensive ones usually are more stable and overclock better.

if your get for example a 100$ SLi mobo and a 150$ one, thye only real difference may be overclocking power, more fetures like software bundles and junk, along with things like an extra PCI slot or w/e. Usually you will get about the same performance, but that doesnt mean cheap out when buying a mobo either.

Oh good. My mobo wasn't the most expensive one when I purchased it, around 100€. The reason I bought it was because I ordered first a better one but the importer didn't have those in store and I'd had to for a one for a cpl of weeks so I just went with a little cheaper one to get the computer in cpl of days.
