I don't know why stores have this card since the NDA isn't lifted yet. So you are not going to see a full reliable review until the official release date of the 24th.

Ya, that's what i thought, i guess this store thought of pixel processors as pipelines.

What I can't believe is that MAJOR places are saying 48 pipes too. I mean, just to hear about it, I can't believe how you can't immidiately think that its BS. The maximum pipes that the next "jump in pipes" will feature will be 32 pipes at the max, I'll bet you that.

The sites that claim to have the card aren't the most reputable AFAIK. Nvidia may jump to 32 pipes, but there is no way ATI would go from 16 to 48 pipes, lol.

Ya, wow, sites need to interpret things better, how could u confuse pixel processor with pixel pipeline?

                Exactly! Haha.

And the G71 is reputed to have 32 pipes, a bit on the extreme side, especially considering 700MHz Core speed, but its certainly possible.

Hell, even the X360's Xenos only has 24 pipes.

Wow, that's gonna be awesome, a 32 pipe card. I wonder if that's just a rumor and it turns out it's just 24 pipes, but still has the insane core speed of 700mhz.

Nvidia won't be able to beat this generation of ATI with only 24 pipes.

Ya, that's prob true, i'm just wondering the other way around, how the hell is ATi beating nvidia's GTX512 with 16 pipes? LOL, i'm guessing it's from a 90nm core or something like that, oh well.
